For Brand Managers: How to Customize Facebook Page Status

One of interested options available in Facebook is to customize your message as Facebook page admin based on either/both country and/or language.

For a brand that is existing in two countries, Facebook page admin can easily post separate offers/status for each of the two countries. In United States for example where English and Spanish are commonly used, Facebook admins can post message in English targeting fans who use Facebook with English interface, while Spanish-written post would be tailored for Spanish interface fans.

Below screen shots simply explains this feature in details:

1.Whether you post status, photo or question; you have the option of customizing your message.

Global TV Advertising Clip for Google (Draft)

I am pro-Google products and services even being freelancer internet marketer and social media consultant.
One day, I had imagined that Google would assign creative Googler to articulate creative scenario for TV ad clip that would be broadcasting in different countries.

I assumed that the TV advertising should highlight Google as leading internet player that has positively affected lives of zillions of people among different continents.

I had drafted the following audio-visual script:

1st Scene: Two US teenagers in 90s, one asks other: do you use internet?

3 Tips to Use Email Campaigns for Business Advertising

1- Send Monthly Newsletter: Allow your website visitors to submit their emails to receive your monthly newsletter. Explain briefly the value of subscription (i.e. exclusive discounts, industry updates, etc). However, it is important to allocate time to prepare and send the newsletter at time, do not underestimate newsletters, please:).

2- Prioritize Email Marketing: Do not depend only on traditional online marketing channels. For example, announcing job vacancies via recruitment websites and related Facebook and twitter accounts is something good. However, announcing them via email campaign to previous job applicants and those who applied for your career newsletter will get you more qualified CVs.

3- Consider Email Groups: Specialized email groups are highly recommended to directly reach your potential segment. In Egypt, IEEE has its own email group. For both Gulf and Egypt, targeting pharmacists and medical representatives would be recommended via Pharmacists Coffee. Targeting alumni groups for MBA and colleges is recommended as well.

At New Egypt Consulting, we tailor email advertising solutions that match your business needs at affordable cost and minimum operations headache. Our email marketing services include sales writing, newsletter design counseling, content development and campaign management plus tracking follow-ups. Do not hesitate to contact us now:

6 Basic P's for Business Email Communications

1-Personalize:
If you are sending important email related to meeting request, or client presentation, then please go ahead and communicate it verbally with the recipients (face-to-face or via phone).
Email communications doesn't mean sticking to PC monitor, it is also about face-to-face interaction especially in important emails.
It had been known psychologically that human focus in face-to-face communications is much higher than email notifications.

2-Prioritize and Summarize:

Corporate HR Manager? 3 Reasons to Start Recruitment Blog

In today's world, each and every business organization is working hard to compete and strive.
Companies invest to train their employees, hire eMarketing consultants, and build user-friendly websites.
Seriously, human resources (HR) directors, recruitment managers, and career development counselors all have to get management approval to add official blog to the company web.
Current blogging technologies give option to easily and effectively manage let's say two blogs; private blog for company employees and public one for advertising career vacancies and job-related PR activities. You can even create one unified blog using WordPress that allows protecting posts with password.
I can list three reasons that would encourage training and HR departments within corporations to start official blog and continuously develop and update its content. Here are the 3 reasons:

Reason #1 : Ensure Transparent Communications:
Having official career blog helps you publicize HR and personnel regulations which saves time of employees and executives. Company employees can subscribe to automatically receive new blog posts (holidays, news, regulations, etc).

Marketing or Sales? 3 Reasons to Invest in a Blog

In today's world, each and every business organization is working hard to compete and strive.
Companies invest to train their employees, publicize advertising campaigns and build user-friendly websites.

Seriously, sales managers and marketing directors (i.e. CMO) have to consider budgeting for add a blog to the company website. I can list three reasons that would encourage marketing departments within corporations to start official blog and continuously develop and update its content. Here are the 3 reasons:

Reason #1 : Highlight Your Company Business Experience:
Gone are the times when website visitors were looking for working hours and contact information. Now, potential clients are looking for relative previous experiences while potential suppliers are looking for relative assessment information.
Also, employees and job seekers all are looking for relative career-related news (see reason #3).

With today's revolution of social media tools (and blogs are part of them), people are looking for additional relative information.
Bloggers are great tool for any company or enterprise to promote its products and services.
