Purpose of the position:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for calling on top-tier publishers to negotiate and close strategic partnerships utilizing elCinema’s media and/or e-commerce content and monetization products and services. This person will be responsible for executing an aggressive plan to grow revenue as well as coordinate with internal teams such as content, editorial, operations and technology.

Key responsibilities & duties:

    Identifying premium news, lifestyle local and MENA based media publishers and establishing new content syndication partnerships
    Producing proposals and presentations to communicate the value of the brand to potential partners
    Leading internal content teams to develop new content ideas and monetize opportunities for distribution in the network of publishers
    Growing and optimizing current publisher partnerships to maximize revenue, while maintaining partner satisfaction
    Screening potential business partnership opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options.
    Developing negotiating strategies.
    Closing new partnerships by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations and product managers.
    Managing and boosting revenues of elCinema SMS notification service
    Protects brand's value by keeping information confidential.

Desired Skills & Experience:
    Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in content licensing, syndication, sales or account management.
    Solid sales experience including cold calling, managing sales pipe-line and pitching new ideas to potential partners
    A strong understanding of digital publishing, advertising, and/or e-commerce industries
    A solid experience in negotiation & closing long-term contracts is highly valued for this role.
    Hands-on knowledge of best practices in B2B content syndication is a plus.
    Bachelor's Degree required; Marketing Degree preferred, MBA a plus
    Strong Knowledge of drafting and managing content licensing contracts.
    The ability to think “out of the box” and develop solutions that meet both business partners and the company needs.
    Experience working directly with content owners
    Experience in content marketing
    Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
