Layar Mobile App: When engagement goes beyond QR codes


My good friend Ayman Salah (Creative Art Director) grabbed my attention to amazing mobile application that is available at both Apple Store and Google Play. The mobile application is called Layar.

Simply, create your account and upload any photo (i.e. your logo). Then, assign specific action for customers who scan your logo using Layar mobile application. For example, customers can be redirected to your website URL, to your mobile application download link, etc. Once done (either as test account or paid account), customers anywhere, with Layar mobile application installed on their mobile devices, can easily scan your corporate logo for example to get directed to discount code or official website.

Layar mobile application allows you to utilize QR-like tool for your own brand, publication, logo, or campaign. Instead of the QR code, you can use just any image or logo.

اليوم نتناول جانبا هاما آخر يتعلق بتأثير شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في المجال السياسي، حيث نفت ابنة الرئيس المصري المؤقت المستشار عدلي منصور عبر حسابها الشخصي على تويتر وجود أية حسابات رسمية له على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي تويتر وذلك في حوار بينها وبين إحدى الصحفيات على تويتر (المصدر: بوابة الأهرام

الخبر تم نشره على بوابة الأهرام في السادسة مساء أمس الجمعة، واليوم السبت تم حذف الحساب الشخصي الخاص بالسيدة ياسمين عدلي نجلة الرئيس المؤقت

الواضح أن الحذف كان بمبادرة من نجلة الرئيس وليس من موقع تويتر، وهو تصرف منطقي إزاء نجلة شخصية عامة يمكن أن تتسبب تويتاتها وتعليقاتها إلى إثارة موجة من التعليقات -سلبا وإيجابا- في المجتمع إذا ما تناولتها وسائل الإعلام

على كل حال نجحنا في الحصول على بعض التويتات والتغريدات القديمة لنجلة الرئيس المؤقت الجديد لعلها تفيد التعرف على نمط تفكيرها ووجهات نظرها، ويمكننا اعتبارهذه التدوينة -التي قد يختلف البعض معها لتغليبها السبق الصحفي والشفافية الرئاسية على ربما الخصوصية الشخصية- مثالا تطبيقيا لكيفية توظيف شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي للتنبؤ بتصرفات وأفكار وقرارات الآخرين.
